Anyone run mixed brand ddr2 successfully?

I've got a machine with a 1gig stick of corsair value select ddr2 ram. If i were to add another stick of 1gig kingston ram will that work ok?

The only way to know is to install and test it. I have mixed memory and had it work fine and I have also had mixtures that would not allow the system to post.

I've done it before, worked fine. Made my system benchmark slower.. but it was fine

i recently had 2Gb ( 2x1Gb Geil 667 DDR 2 ) and 1Gb ( 2x512Mb Corsair XMS 667 DDR ) running happlily in my board giving 3Gb

Had no problems at all
