it will run at 1600mhz,just look in bios and either set to xmp if the memory supports it or set the ram freq to 1600mhz

z77 ud5h does but ud3h i think does not... unless someone has it working and can confirm.

Plenty of 1600Mhz RAM in there, it'll run fine. It may not be the default speed with a SB CPU in there, but you should be able to get it running at 1600MHz [as loads of people have with Z68 and Z77 already]

I think the only way to make SB on ud3h Z77 run 1600mhz ram is if you OC it... Anyone actually have success running it at that speed on those settings? ta

Yes it is, Sandybridge only officially supports up to 1333mhz ram. See here:

But unofficially it supports also 1600mhz but need to set it up...
