Anyone running IOS 5 on a 3GS?

I didnt think it was out until the 12th? It comes up in Itunes as me having the most recent version?

Yes, also running it here. Actually a tad quicker than iOS 4 but I get the occasionally half-second freeze, but not very often. Very happy with the performance!

Some early benchmark scores out of Safari seem to back up the performance improvement - at least as far as browsing goes. Hopefully it's an all-around good thing for those who still have their 3GSs.

Runs fine, although its a shame location based reminders don't work on the 3GS, strangely they don't work on my iPad 2 either.

It appears to be better although I'm now utilising all the functionality including Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, GPS, Push for both iCloud and Gmail and can easily last a full day

I suspect I'd get about 2 days with all the features switched off.

Top Tip: Disable the Setting Time Zone option within Location Services -> System Services to increase battery life
