Anyone running Tri X fire yet ?

Ok guys I currently have a Ultra and from what I can see of DELETED , READ THE RULES !!! new offerings and the current beches for multi ATI cards Tri X fire is the way to go .

Couple of questions though .

1. Can I Tri X fire any 3870X2 and 3870XT

2.Is anyone running this on a X38 Board yet and what sort of performance are you getting .

3.Would a 720W Liberty Enermax PSU be fine to run theese with 3xHdd and Q600 ?

1. Yes you can run any X2 and XT combo.

3. I would have thought 720W would be ok for tri xfire

I've seen a X2+XT review running on a Corsair HX620W...I'm hoping they were thorough enough with testing that I can follow suit without issue. They were running a quadcore too IIRC.

If that's true then i am pretty pleased, as all i would need to upgrade is my mobo. Seems like a good investment, but will wait to see how well the new games that hopefully will be coming out utilise multiple GPUs.
