It's a shrug bar. Notice the elevated handles? I see some that are flat against the bar, though.

Can't decide which type to get. Thoughts?

It looks a little small to deadlift in having read the product description.

Would be great for shrugs though!

I think you might be right. Been having trouble finding what a 'standard' size should be but just found this:

I guess the handles are wider apart on the different sizes and not just the over all length? I think a 6foot one might be more comfortable than a 7 if they are wider apart...
