Anyone seen the new BE website?

At first i thought they had been hacked, but i soon found out that it was the real thing.

What was wrong with their previous site?!
 
The old one was hardly the pinnacle of great design, but the new one...my eyes :/

Breaking the portal into the bargain is just stupid...
 
honestly i dont know what was in there mind and why they even put that up its just terrible.. i liked the old site tbh it was how should i put it.. unique come on what other broadband has pink/and little funny star shape people :P

Omg it's ****ing hideous. It's actually painful.

If I was looking for broadband and stubled upon that site, I'd swiftly press the back button before my eyes explode.
 
That's terrible. If someone said "Oh, Be are supposed to be good, have a look at their website" I'd take one look and think they're an amateur ISP with no reputation. Fortunately I've been with Be before and know they're excellent, but that website sends all the wrong messages in my opinion.

I can see what they're trying to achieve, but it looks far too rough around the edges to be taken seriously. The logo on that router looks neat and smooth, but the website just looks crap.
 
If you change the background to something like Asterisks (drop-down box on the left-hand side) it actually doesn't look quite so bad. It's just that nasty dull grey that makes it look really plain.
 
it's a shame as I was going to be signing up with Be when I move into my flat next week. That site is making me think otherwise. My 4 year old cousin could do a better job with paint. It's like the old tripod or angelfire sites you used to make in the 90s xD
