Anyone sleep with a weapon?

Quite the response, I should clarify a little more. My brother is 16 and lives with my mum, step dad and other brothers and sisters. Its a nice neighbour hood they never had trouble at all. It just makes him feel safe like I guess when children have blankets or a teddy in bed.

It's nothing like a blanket or a teddy. He is 16 and he should be taught better. Walking to the toilet with a baseball bat is frankly odd and needs looking in to.

That table/shield is superb!

I haven't purposely put these weapons near me, and don't feel that I need them there to feel safe, but I have, in the locality of my bed, a walking cane, an air rifle, and one of those extendable police batons (number one choice, but not very legal).

Not saying that I built one, but one of these could be very useful if the situation arises.

Haha :D

^^^What is the point of an ignore list if people keep quoting him .

Personally I keep a spare keyboard in my bedroom, just in case things go bad. Unfortunately it isn't an old IBM one you could break rocks with but it will do.

I have a small iron bar (maybe 2ft long) on the floor by my bed, had it for donkeys years. It's actually a one of those things that professional chefs use to sharpen knifes.

You mean a steel? I think that's what its called.

I don't have a weapon so to speak, but I have a unit next to my bed which has got an assortment of pen knives and utility tools, or I have a toolbox with many tools in :D
