Sorry but that auction is open to all sorts of confusion.
You haven't said clearly that the auction is for an individual key, it is implied in the other lines but it could be(and has been) misunderstood.
Shoddy advert + non English speaker + machine translation = inevitable misunderstanding.

Although I can tell that you're only selling one key, it isn't too clear that you're selling an individual key to buyers, and I can easily see why someone would think they are bidding on a Samsung NC10 keyboard sans spacebar. You should have put something like 'You are bidding on ONE key only' in the listing.

I would have thought £3.50 free p&p would have also given away the fact its just the key, even the picture focuses on a key ROFL!

The title refers to a keyboard, albeit with "Any key" thrown haphazardly in there. The description then refers to a new keyboard. It goes on to babble about sending out one key.
To be honest, this sounds like a terribly risky way to sell something fairly silly, and I'm not in the least bit surprised that it's ended up like htis.

Judging by his opening remark, it looks a lot like our French buyer is of the opinion that Haz has swindled him which is rather humorous

You can get brand new keyboards in proper shops for that price never mind second-hand on ebay.
Obviously you didnt intentionally mislead people. The auction seems very clear to you when you type it (and to most people with half a brain who read it) but, when your selling on ebay, you have to assume that most people reading your auction have less that half a brain. You need to put "YOU ARE BIDDING ON ONE KEY ONLY" some where in big, red, capital letters or people wont understand.

He needs to brush up on his English, you need to be clearer in your advert and stop relying on internet translation.
You should also consider not being quite so arrogant when some (not all) of the fault is your own.

It's all well and good calling his intelligence into question, but at the end of the day many people have called your auction into question and lashing out and calling them stupid is probably not the smartest way to deal with the criticism... you know, if you intend to sell to many people it wouldn't be particularly smart to word your auction in such a way that thick people can't buy your items

To be fair, I know this would have been a long winded way to do things, but you should have created an auction for each invidual key.
You also need to make your description iron clad, so there are no comebacks.
