Any of you Polish speakers out there be kind enough to translate this saying:

Polak nie kaktus pić musi

I saw it on a t-shirt earlier, I think on a Polish person. It appears to be quite a popular phrase according to the internet but I can't find a translation anywhere :D

I got something different to that again :p

But then some of these countries if you were to say "your brother is a sitting camel" they all come out with pitchforks and burning torches :D

Most of my staff are Eastern European. I could ask one of them when I pop in this afternoon to check on them. Dzien dobry!

p.s. I do hope this isn't a way to get people to insult the Poles. I don't want to upset any of them, they're the best bunch of workers! ;)

What's your business?

I'm currently working as onsite contract manager for a big logistics firm. I leave in 2 weeks though. Temporary summer job, but somehow managed to get (in my opinion) a damn good break in terms of a position for what I told them would only be a summer job. Good money, very flexible hours, suppose it helps I know the boss :( :D

Polish taking all the jobs!!!!11

I would say send them back but alas I find them friendly, the women are usually quite hot and they work hard. Plus I'm dating one who's over here for the summer and she's being sent back in a few weeks anyway to finish uni hehe :D

Fine if you like your women with more facial hair than me.

It's apparentally a Polish proverb :p.

Asked someone Polish and he said it translates to: "Pole isn't cactus, must drink." :D

'Polish is not a cactus, he must drink'

Explanation - You know cactuses these plants which grow on a desert, don't have to drink but polish yes.

Not sure which is more confusing.
