I think bf:v had 2 things going for it, the infantry combat (after the m60 got toned down) was easily the best in any bf game ever, no proning every 2 seconds gayness, no bs weapons that took forever to kill people with, the weapons had a nice feel to them and it felt more like a regular fps game as opposed to bf2 or bf:1942.
The second thing was obviously the music, first time playing it i never really caught onto the fact that other people could hear the music you were playing, i thought it was just a built in mp3 player only you could hear, then i see a jeep go flying past blaring surfing bird and had to laugh.
