Forgot I had this and was just wondering if there is still a big community?

Thanks

Yeah cant say i was too keen on Vietnam - Loved 1942 and thoroughly enjoy BF2 ( not sure i love it as 1942/DC though ).

but as far as i know there are still allot of people playing BFV

I really liked BFV, especially the air battles - the migs were sweet to fly. Also the choppers were good - who can argue flying a Chinook wasn't great!

The problem is that when you go back to an older graphics engine the nostalgia quickly wears off. BFV also had the annoying feature that you thought that you were hiding in the grass but the graphics engine stripped it all away from a distance - you ended up sticking out like a sore thumb.

'42 had eve of destruction as a vietnam mod- anyone know if there are plans to bing it to the BF2 engine?

I remember buying this game down woolworths extra, i was there for about 15 minutes deciding on either getting BFV or UT2004 which at that time were both out at the same time. I choosed wrong and got BFV :(

About 1 year later i bought UT2004 :)

and girl your really got me goin

i was hiding in a building before and a heli was circkling above, when he saw me hide he changed his song to Nowher to run to baby which made me lol, especially when he ate a bit of mig 21

I think bf:v had 2 things going for it, the infantry combat (after the m60 got toned down) was easily the best in any bf game ever, no proning every 2 seconds gayness, no bs weapons that took forever to kill people with, the weapons had a nice feel to them and it felt more like a regular fps game as opposed to bf2 or bf:1942.

The second thing was obviously the music, first time playing it i never really caught onto the fact that other people could hear the music you were playing, i thought it was just a built in mp3 player only you could hear, then i see a jeep go flying past blaring surfing bird and had to laugh.
