anyone still play DAOC ?

The server cluster Ywain has been really busy lately. Even the newbie start zone and lowlevel bg's are busy.
Thought i'd resub till prime is released and I'm suprised by all the peeps still playing this.

I have a toon on the US servers, I used to play on the classic cluster, I understand thats now gone and the only servers are TOA ones?

Major turn off if it is.

I have thought a little about going back to it though, whats this prime all about?

Nope, it was only announced recently, nothing on a release date yet unfortunately.

I still play - have 5 accounts and 20+ fully templated Lvl 50s (ML10 CL10 RR5+ etc).

Am thinking of not renewing subs though - since the German server merge there has been really bad lag (> 2 secs) every night from 7 PM - 11 PM BST. Numerous people have complained and we've got nowhere.

Basically it seems EA have moved the game to an older server and the hardware and network infrastructure just can't cope with 2500+ players on it.

Frustrating - they are letting the game die and it could have been so much more - all for the want of a little love and investment.
