So do people still play this?

Thinking of installing it again if it's still popular.

If not, what other racing games are people playing?

Thanks
Will.

I play it, but not online, there are too many people just trying to smash you off the track and block the track etc, way too annoying.

not had it installed since the days we was all playing online together!

ive just started to play DIRT :D

It is installed on my system and do play it now and then. When ever I get the urge to race.

But as alexhull24 mentioned there are too many annoying players online.

Yes, the amount of throttle or brake applied is related to how far you've pressed the trigger. It'd be a pretty bad control mechanism otherwise! Imagine driving your car with only full throttle, full brake or neither!

Holy cow ! Thankyou thankyou thankyou !

I'm off to buy one today... ocuk price is cheaper but I want it now !

This is going to rock way more than using a psp as a controller. :D

Same applies for DiRT, and GTA4 as a matter of fact. The triggers can be defined as axes, or an axis depending on which drivers you use I think.

DiRT is ace too, though, like GRID, only playable with a pad (specifically 360 controller).
Do you mean the X-box 360 controller

On my old PC (with XP Home) I used to use a PlayStation controller but the driver isn't compatible with the 64-bit version of Vista :(

I now have to use the keyboard on GRID and on TRD3 and it's not anything as good and I usually struggle to come in the top 10 :o
