I've re signed up while drunk after quitting in round 6 and realised i have no idea what i'm doing, if anyone does still play then please remind me, how do i get started again??

Man, that game was ****ing awesome.

Can't remember what to do at all, but it was so so good :o

yep that's what i remembered but i haven't played for 18 rounds and whereas before i knew exactly how to start up my planet now i'm 'what the heck do i research first???'

You'll need mines for the primary resource (normally some sort of metal stuff) and get scans so you can scan for more roids.

I feel so geeky and sad just thinking about that :o

Ah, those were the days. Hours and hours wasted. 2nd round was the only round i took seriously. We finished in the top 30 for galaxies with a couple of our members top 100. I was some way off being top 100 but still did well.

It was too easy though, i was never under threat once we got going because we were protected by the big alliances. Still, the start of the round was a learning curve having only played round one for a couple of weeks. It was a lot of fun creating alliances, making friends etc etc.

C4E (the best cluster alliance ever!) and centruy here. Our galaxy GC and MoD were legion/C4E

Was this around the time of 1p per minute dial up and so on?
Any ideas (apart form the above) on why it got so unpopular?

Yeah, i racked up £250 in the two months before i got freeserve fixed rate dialup. My dad was not a happy man. Ah the days of 2 hour cut offs.

Ah I remember playing it during ICT and Bussiness Lessons at High School, and the after school IT club.. lost count the ammount times people would just peer over my shoulder just to get my Co-Ords so they could come and wipe me out.
