Anyone still play RtCW?

The clan I am a member of are planning to host a Tourney using the Destruction map. The rules are and sign ups depend upon the interest shown. If you would like to take part in theTourney for wolf maybe an OCUK team could be assembled. I have started a poll to gather interest and posted on several clan forums, I also await a reply from the TWL to post on there forum.

If you guy's would like to assemble a team intially 5 strong plus reserves then vote in our poll first. You must register on the forum to take part in the Tourney.

One last thing! If you are blacklisted by the MBL then you will not be allowed to take part.

I'm currently moving into a new place though, and will have no internet for a week or two... maybe more so I won't be able to take part

It will probably be in August when the Tourney is held so, you do have an outside chance. Drop by anytime for this might be the first of them.

I was up until a few months ago, I loved that game. I played from the release in 2001. Was a brilliant community and a fantastic game. Still the best team based game that has ever been IMO. The balance of teams was superb. The maps were not huge so engaging action was never far away. Having no vehicles was also a plus.

I loved the game but had to move on. Playing HL2 Deathmatch at the moment which is good for a quick fragfest.. also play ET quite a bit too!!!

Green and yellow are my colours. I rarely play myself nowadays TBH.

Wolf is indeed dying slowly but with the tourney's being held by our community it is enjoying an interest from many quarters.

The TWL have dropped the ladder for wolf instead, a power ladder has been set up here
Only 17 teams have signed up so far in both Shrub and OSP but I am sure that will grow, I know for a fact that our clan are going to return to comp in wolf.

yeh i play under the nick BoneS, play for IWG. i thought there was only a few active clans left 4 or 5 in osp.

which nick do you play under vinny?

No, except during the early day's of wolf I played only the Destruction map which was first Xians then {E} now TS

Lonewolf is/was a popular nick like most i suppose.

I've played Wolf since Beach test, tried Battlefield and it's various mods, COD, SOF, CS, but nothing comes close to the co-op gameplay of Wolf.
A couple of years ago some old mates from {420} decided to form a fun clan, mostly to keep alive what was essentially a dying game. We started a 20 slot server which soon became a 24 slot and recently has become a 32 slot. It's mostly Beach 24/7 but maps can be voted for. Friday night we went thru most of the war maps with a full server, very reminiscent of the ole Blueyonder days....

We're just hoping that this will actually happen one day, it's been talked about for years but who knows?

Many of the wolf vets are waiting patiently for wolf 2 but, is it destined to be a console release only? RtCW 2

They have been the names I have used over the last 4 years, a few more before that!!!

Yeah unfortunately RTCW is on its last legs, even a lot of the diehard fans have drifted off!!!

I would love an RTCW 2 but Im looking forward to ETQW. ALthough it will not entirely focus on man 2 man combat, it will, I think, be a great game!!

thinkin of getting this game again for my laptop as im unsure when i will be pc gaming/xbox 360 gaming as there is nout exciting out for another 4 months.

i loved the MP on RTCW, the beach level for example was great, some of the best gaming ive ever had!
