Anyone still playing Battle Field vietnam?

Just installed this to see if my new Laptops 7600 could handle this (and it does very well, in single play)

I installed the patches upto 1.21 and the punk Buster updates, but no matter what just after it finishes loading up a map I get disconnected

on ea's official ww2 mod it says Corrupt Data when about to join a game

Cant really help you I'm afraid. I have gone back to Vietnam as I was fed of Bf2's bugs and stuff but I havnt had any problems.

and what as the exact process you went through installing the game and its patches

After you install the ww2 mod you have to re-patch the game.

I reinstalled it last month and really couldnt get back into itafter playing soo much of BF2 , ive just installed bf1942 and some mods like DC & FH , loving FH again at the moment , makes a nice change from the bug fest that is BF2

managed to get it working, and wow, these guys are pros if you stop for a second you get SVD'd.

the array of weapons like the choppers is far superior to bf2

bf2 has choppers :confused:

The array of weapons isn't that big in Vietnam, in fact I might hazard a guess at it being less than in BF2.
