anyone still playing R6 ravenshield?

Yeah it was great, best coop i've ever played, great fun working together to clear rooms from multiple doors etc, i recently re-got the whole pack including the expansions but cant get them all workin in win7.

great choice of weapons too.

A modern raven shield would rock, but keep it propa sim, not turn it into the muck that was the later ghost recons.
 
Absolutely loved the coop play in RvS, definately one of my favourite pc games. I bought the xbox version as well just to try the voice commands over the mic, it was great (when it worked) targeting a doorway and vocally giving the command for the ai to breach, band and clear and having them carry it out :cool:.
 
I occassionally give it a bash, there are still a lot of servers up and a good few regular players. Only problem is that a lot of the hardcore players are either ridiculously good, are cheating (how i don't know) or have made their own maps so that they get an advantage. But you can soon get back into it and it's a blast. I used to be in a clan back in the day and play every night, now I just have a go when I want something different - it's still good.
 
I was tempted to pick this up on Steam the other night. Even more tempted to hear that people are still playing it. Can't really argue for £4.99.
 
Great game, it's a shame R6 went tragically downhill after that. Lockdown should have been called Letdown, and don't even get me started on the cowboy-esque morons of Vegas.
 
update - just reinstalled it and there still a few servers. hehe some new maps too.

damn I lost my magic touch, use to play in elite tango hunt now getting to terms with veteran :o
 
the last real rainbow 6 game, till the consoles got hold of it :(
Lost my copy ages ago, dont think it would be the same nowadays
