just loading now would like a few pointers like which server to choose, best class for a newb...the usual stuff really

Out of all the classes I tried, I liked the Warrior Priest the best. Reasonable damage, great survivability and generally ignored in PvP due to being hard to take down. Nice to have the choice of being on the front line, DPS'ing while healing/buffing at the same time, or hanging back going for all-out healing.

Pure (Rune Priest, Archmage, Zealot) healers are hard work in T1, your target No1 in PvP and survivability is poor until you get more abilites in T2.

Tanks are always in demand, but I found solo'ing to be hard work with them, especially past T1. DPS classes are always are good choices, but they're very popular for obvious reasons. Squig Herder and Engineer stood out for me.

Can't comment on servers - one of the busiest was Karak Azgal, but I've let my sub lapse until 1.3 comes out, then I'll come back to it. At the moment, keep seiges are pretty dull...

The classes really don't start to get interesting till late teens I have found. Love my Knight of the Blazing Sun when teamed up with my wife's Warrior Priest. For solo I quite like my Engineer and for scenarios I am a big fan of my Bright Wizard but tend to kill myself more than the enemy does as no one heals a bright wizard at low levels!

magus and white lion are probably 2 of the most underplayed classes right now, and with reason, you could probably trump it and play a shadow warrior for the ultimate in poor classes :)

i'd recommend a slayer right now for a melee dps character, single target or aoe they rip through people,

ranged bright wizard still pumps out silly damage when healed.

As for servers most of the core servers should be busy, i know the lower tiers on norn are still active

Roll a runepriest if you want to be more in demand in groups than warrior priests, there's millions of them at all levels.

I've ditched Warhammer, not playing any MMOs at the moment.

knight of the blazing sun were awesome because of the dmg aura they had unless it got nerfed.

it mean if someone in your group accidently aggroed something like a healer the mob would hit the healer and your dmg aura would proc but instead of other games where the dmg would count as the healers the dmg counts as the knights so the mob instantly runs to him.

it was stupidly easy to keep aggro because of it but i quit along time ago so dont know if they are still good.

this game is at it's best between 0-20 past 30 and you are stuck facing 40 with rr 60 and have no chance.

I got my IB to 31 but gave up quest handins were getting me 0.5% XP and took ages to do. Only other way to get XP was to grind PQs (I'm not doing that for 10 levels :( )
