Anyone still using one? Hows it coping in games?

Wont be taxing it to much, just a bit of COD and maybe BF4. Playing at 1080p.

You should be good to go at that res:)

If you're buying one though unless it's dirt cheap I'd look at some of the newer cards and how they compare price wise.

Heat and VRAM are the main draw backs on the 480's:)

i still have mine, prolly along with my 8800gtx my fave card that i've owned. it's currently sitting in pci-e slot 1 which is turned off, as i've been lazy and haven't drained the loop to take it out!

i upgraded to a 7970ghz which to be honest wasn't the massive upgrade i was hoping it would be after 3 1/2 years!

its fine tbh. i have 2 in sli and they perform a bit better than my 7970 when they aren't being vram limited. one of them performs pretty much the same as a 7870 or 270X, but obviously they use all the power and heat up the whole room.

Well the cards in. Obviosuly ive had to lower settings from what I ran on the
R9 290, but COD Ghosts is more than playable.

Havent tried BF4 as yet.
