Anyone suggest some DDR2 ram?

There are several that take my eye, not really looking to spend a bucket load on it (65 or less would be nice) I don't really care about overclocking the ram to much.

I am currently using a divider, and running my C2D @ 2.7 which is good enough. I just want to replace the 2GB I have with 4GB as I do photo /video work

Can anyone recommend some

Oh, and now is it really worth going to 8GB?

Ideally you want to go for something with low timings, I nearly got some Ballistix RED Tracers, but they're a bit pricey.. Those G.Skill's don't look too bad.

As far as moving to 8Gb is concerned.. It really depends how many things you have open/want to have open at once. In all likely hood 4Gb will be enough, but you can always drop another 4Gb in later if you find its not quite enough right? .

I would go for the G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PK PC2-6400C4 ....a bit over your budget but good ram, or failing that G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-6400C5

Not at the moment I reckon, 4GBs is probably enough to cover every eventually....

Maybe someone else could specify when 8GBs of ram would be helpful...

8gb is worth it if, like me, you like to keep tonnes of memory hungry apps open. For example, I will typically have Photoshop, Premiere, Visual Studio .NET, VMWare, Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access & an abundance of other apps open at once. Switching between them is faster than 4gb I found. I can also game and when I come out its all instant.

My typical RAM usage (not cached) is on average 5-6gb, it did creep over once :O
