Anyone suprised Fiji doesn't vastly outperform tx/ 980ti?

I thought from all the hype i was hearing, plus the fact the reference model was watercooled, this thing would blow the 980ti/ tx out the water, pretty disappointed to see these 3d mark benches. Some the wins fiji some the 980ti wins. I was under the impression this thing was gonna be a game changer and drop gpu prices, but performance wise is pretty disappointing. 980ti and fiji are within margin of error of each other. I hope these benches are wrong because the gpu market needs competition to drive down prices and forward progression, as that only benefits us consumers

These are the benches im talking about. Most people have been saying this thing will be a 980ti killer but the benches don't seem to show that. The nvidia cards also seem to do better in dual gpu

TBH i'd take leaked benchs with a grain of salt until its released, at this point no use getting disappointed

No need for another thread, ATM it keeps jumping about one min its faster than TitanX next is slower than a 980!
