Been with O2 for years and recently was switched over to Sky. Nothing much has really changed if I'm honest. DL/UL speeds are almost exactly the same and I've noticed no real difference in browsing. But we've received a letter from BT with a broadband offer which seems very good value. My exchange is due to be upgraded to FTTC in May so would be looking to go for BT Infinity when that happens. Got two choices - stay where I am for now and switch to Infinity in May or move now to BT and switch to Infinity when the time comes. Just thinking it might be less hassle getting switched over to FTTC with BT if I'm with them already. As I said, no real changes with Sky and whether folk can understand or agree with it or not, the way the entire O2/Sky move came about still leaves a slightly bitter taste in my mouth.
Anyway, all that aside, just wondered if anyone had been in the same boat and switched to BT recently, how did it all go and what are your thoughts so far using BT? The offer they have sent is :-
All for £8 per month for 12 months. It then jumps to £16 per month (which is what I'm paying now) and you are tied to the contract for a further 6 months.
Any thoughts appreciated.
