well i got the dgm27" ips after much saving and its got a stuck
white pixel not off to a side which is i suppose liveable ,but bang in the middle REALLY ANNOYING:mad:
I, wrongly it seems, thought overclockers would exchange it, an idea supported by other posts from the past and the 14 day cust satisfaction guarentee etc, but it seems return/refund at my expense is the only option, then repurchase (at the now higher price! and shipping again)
any tips/advise for changing their minds or has anyone managed an exchange??

I will NEVER buy another DGM Ever Again after my last 24" screen failed. My Dell is far Better and my 20" Samsung has Outlasted my DGM by over a year. That's 3 years DGM 4 years my Samy, still going strong.

Warbulator, i bought an AOC from CCL and i had a dead pixel they refused to refund in the first place. As they have a checking policy. I then pointed out i bought from ebay and that doest offer that service. As i paid through paypal i took out a dispute and they refunded me due to distance selling laws.
I then purchased a Dell from over clockers that was terrible, its the cheap dell 27" one 1080p looks lovely but has massive overdrive issues. So i called them and they said i could refund it but i had to send it back. Now for £13 it took to send back it was worth it. I bought my DGM and its awesome no issues at all.
you have to pay to return the item as technically its not faulty its defect that the law allows. I personally think its disgusting the law allows this. I got a brand new samsung laptop £600 and that has one faulty pixel too! and they wont refund me. And samsung say 5 pixels. Its all a laugh to be honest. The quicker it becomes law not to sell goods with a dead pixel the better. But i dream of those days.
you could just wait for them to have another good offer. But my advice is send it back and pay the extra, but you may have a dead pixel on the next one.

thanks nuzic, i am sick. the monitor is awesome but that stuck white pixel is a real annoying let down, overclockers will not exchange it.
I agree about "faulty pixels are allowed" is just rubbish, if my ipad had one i would bet a lot apple would swop it without blinking an eye, if the paint on my new car had a blemish it would be sorted, this is crazy:confused:.
Having owned probably 6 or 7 branded monitors over the past few years none of which had any faulty pixels, I would not recommend anyone to gamble £350.00 on a dgm 27" monitor.:(

When you have over 3.4 million pixels on a 1440 screen its inevitable that some may fail. All brands suffer from pixel defects and there is an ISO standard for how many and the type of failure. The DGM is considered a budget 1440p display paying more for something like a Dell and you get a next day swap warranty and no bright pixel guarantee its whether you think the extra is worth it or not.
