Anyone tested lapping grades against temps

Just wondering about the diminishing returns of going finer on lapping grades.
Currently have it at 800 grit, however due to changing stress programs and temp programs at the same time, I have no data to say whether it improved anything or not.

Is there much point taking it finer basically?

What results did you get at what grade?

Can't remember the original source but I'm sure that the likes of Swiftech et al don't go finer than that as there is no benefit.

It could be a while before the site comes back online, both the forums / site and the stats system.

The servers that run all these are having issues following the fire and explosion in TP's HSTNTX1 Datacenter, where the servers are located. The equipment is fine, but the resulting explosion blew down three concrete walls in the electrical room and the fire dept has suspended the company from starting backup generators due to hazards in the electrical room. Last "all went well" eta for servers to be up was around 10pm EDT Sunday.
