A certain place (cba to read over the rules and figure out what's ok and what's not) is doing a trade in for a Elite console and will give you a 250gb slim + halo 4 or Black Ops 2 for £99. This seems pretty good and figured I might do it.

Just wanted to know if it's just the console and cables or do I give them a controller as well? Also do I need to go to the effort to get the box from the attic or can I just stroll in with a console and cables in my hand?

Oh and lastly. Do they do a hdd transfer for you or has this stopped?

That's not what I am seeing on the website.

£99.99 is the price of the Xbox 360 250GB Slim + Halo 4 or Xbox 360 250GB + Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 when you trade-in a Xbox 360 Elite and the trade in value is deducted from the selling price of the Xbox 360 250GB Slim + Halo 4 or Xbox 360 250GB + call Of Duty Black Ops 2.

I took mine into an entertainment retailer in town, boxed and complete with everything (or so I thought). I hadn't included the scart cable so they had a grumble and took £5 off.

I did a similar swap last Christmas £99+Fifa I rang up the local store first. They agreed to just take what I didn't trade in out of the new box in my case it was a controller and the composite>scart block which I couldn't find in time.

I used USB storage for game saves and perishable content so to speak and just left all the installed games on the HDD.

When I traded my old one they wanted all the original cables that came with the console and despite the fact I was trying to trade it in with an HDMI they wanted the scart and point blank refused to take it. They will need the controller as well :)
