As mentioned in another thread in the monitors forum, Im considering buying a cheap 3rd party s-video cable for my Wii, to use on my Dell 2007WFP, as the composite input on the screen looked pretty terrible when I tried it a while back.
Has anyone tried one of these 3rd party cables and knows if the S-video picture is any good with the Wii 3rd party cables? Also, would it allow you to set the output to 480p like the component cables do (which Im hoping would display better on a monitor than the 480i/576i that normal composite allows does)?

No worries, seems the PAL Wii doesnt support S-Video output, although if anyone knows different and some of the cables do work, please feel free to say so.
