Anyone Tried Re-attaching a IHS?

Hi guys i haven't yet taken the IHS off my cpu but was curious in doing so (i like fiddling :p ), but just incase i cocked something up and temps wern't as i expected is it possible to re-attach it? has anyone done this or know if it is possible?
