Sorry for another thread in such a small amount of time but I dont see that last one getting any interest so might as well try another one (mods can delete the old one if they want).

So as the title says, anyone tried the LG Multi Function monitors? They seem to be good value for money, having loads of different inputs etc but is the quality any good? I'd be using it primarily as a PC monitor so it needs to be good for that. Will probably use it for my 360 and as a tv as well. Does it perform just as well as a monitor as the other LG monitors or is it better to get a standard monitor?

This is the model I'm looking at http://uk.lge.com/products/model/detail/multifunctionmonitor_m198wa.jhtml
Maybe the 22" model as well but its much more expensive for an extra 3" and I dont really like huge screens anyway.

Cheers.

My brother and I have the 22" models with digital tv tuners and we have had no real problems with them, primarily used as a pc monitor for games but also with an xbox 360, and wii also connected to them.
The tv function works ok the pictures watchable but it is a bit grainy up close but I think that's to expected on high resolution screens

There probably not the best panels for viewing angles but for the money I don't think you can really beat them, when other monitors with dvi and vga only cost a similar price ;)

Cheers, I reckon I'll go for one. I have a freeview box so dont really need to pay the extra for a digital one. I guess the picture as a pc monitor is good then?

Cheers, thats exactly what I wanted to hear :) I'll be getting one of these when I next get some money! So sick of using a tv as a monitor.
