Anyone trust Everest Readings?

I've just downloaded the latest Everest software to help monitor my rig when I finally create the time to o/c.

It is reading my E6600 running at stock on a Asus P5W-DH as 7 x 343MHz = 2.4GHz
All other sensors (AI Booster, CPU-Z, Core Temp) have this correct as 9 x 267Mhz = 2.4GHz

It also shows vCPU = 1.1v where other sensors have this as the correct stock of 1.3v

Everest has been recommended elsewhere on the forum but I'm tempted to forget it - what do you think?

I've also had bad expeirences with everest, it used to give really dodgey readings for some of my voltage rails.

Also it used to claim things such as my cpu fan was spinning at 89 rpm (when it was really running around the 1000's)

I use the monitor that comes with my motherboard for monitoring most of the stuff. If yours doesn't come with any monitoring software try an alternative like speedfan for tempteratures, and cpu-z for information about the cpu.

The last free version of everest would give you those figures.

The latest version is 3.50.761 and works perfectly with my 6600 + P5W DH

Never had any problems with Everest tbh - great bit of software. It was the only program that I could use to read the temps from my sapphire board without crashing it.
