I went out to see if I could get some moody pictures with all this fog we have at the moment. My original plan was to get some pictures of a foot bridge over the Trent that is lit by some floodlights but the fog was too dense to come away with anything good.

I shot a few of my car as I left and this was my best effort....

....although I don't think the fog added anything.

Anyone manage to get a good shot?

Thats not bad at all. :)

I think it would be improved if it didnt have the red tail-light streak across it.

Thanks for the feedback. I was hoping the tail-light would give a little splash of colour in a dark picture.

I'm going to revist the same location (to have another shot at the foot bridge) so I will retry the same scene with my car without the tail-lights.

I went out this time last year at in all the fog with my car at 2am:

Not that brilliant but made for nice light effects.

I have hardly any fog! one slightly foggy morning and thats it :( Dunno why, I live in a valley with a river running through - sure fire fog normally! but none :( Some good shots there though people :)

It was only foggy here on Tuesday afternoon. I came home from work, saw the bottom of my estate was looking fantastic, and ran home to get camera. 10 mins later I was at the bottom of my estate and I couldn't see my hand infront of my face :(

Fog is my specialty!

I really like your effort too. It seems to create a soft atmosphere. It kind of reminds me of someone walking into 'the light', so to speak, although I don't know why. It just feels very peaceful.
