Anyone tryed to make a USB slot on your bike

As the title suggests has anyone tried to make a USB port for your bike, I'm just wondering as my battery is next to my storage on my bike & was wondering if anyone has tried to make a car USB fit onto a bike battery.

Im quite useless when it comes to charging my phone so generally leave the house with a nearly dead phone so it would be very useful to have a USB port on the bike.
 
id tried to find one but couldn't find one do you know where to get them from & how much they are?
 
Yes, it's a doddle! You can buy the kits from the online auction site that includes the little box of tricks to give you 5V 1A. You just need to put it somewhere dry - under the seat for example.
 
thats good ill have a look for 1 & my storage is under my seat & so is my battery hopefuly ill be able to find one then Cheers :D
 
Think ive reilzed why i couldnt find what i was looking for. Its cos i was searching for a USB socket instead of the lighter plug which is what i was thinking of

And you can buy a twin USB adaptor that you can plug into the fag lighter as well to charge two things. I used mine this weekend, charging my phone/sat nav and my HD camera on the fly. Result... only about £4 quid I think I spent on the adaptor.
