Anyone trying balance-alb for NIC bonding without switch support ?

Interested in hearing if anyone is successfully running with balance-alb to bond two NICs without the need for switch LACP support.

I have, but only on my home server.

Seems to work fine and certainly increases speed when multiple machines are accessing the server at once (did some tests using large file transfers from multiple machines on the network), but thats only on a home network so not sure thats really giving it a workout.

Out of interest, what switch are you connecting the server to ?
