Anyone up for BC2 hardcore ?

Ways to deal with it ? what you mean sprinting zig zagging jumping from spawn and still being sniped within 5 seconds of spawning 10 times in a row isn't a way of dealing with it ? love to know this secret way of dealing with it.

Lets face it on some maps mainly the large open ones the sniper is just too much, cant see why anyone would disagree to body shot being 2 hit kill unless they are one of those lame spawn camping snipers themselves.

They are the same people that camped enemy runways over and over with a rocket launcher in bf 1942 and bf2.

There for themselves and the stats and k/d ratios not there to play a team game or get involved.

I still don't get why people feel the need to pull out the 'realism' card. This game is not at all realistic in a plethora of ways.

Simply from a game balance POV, as this is a game, one shot kill snipers are unbalanced.
 
I agree with reducing sniper damage on hardcore. At the moment it is just to easy to snipe. I don't care if that is not very realistic, I want a balanced game. If total realism was being sort after then sniping would be 10x harder anyway with wind, recoil etc.
 
Hardcore is bad because it isn't balanced for this game. Snipers are way overpowerd - which although realistic is not balanced. No minimap, no crosshair even on turrets etc.

And on top of that it just plain dosen't work, this game is meant to be played running to objectives etc, hardcore means if you arn't ducked under some rock the whole game you will get sniper within a fraction of a second.

1v1's are denoted by whoever see's who first, which takes the skill, and reaction time out of the equation.

Could just be that I suck at hc mode though :p

I dont see you complaining about the one hit kill no skill to aim gustav.

"****, sniper!"
"spot randomly soldier"
"check your minimaps!"
"BANG headshot"

lol I only snipe defensively, and even then its if I can be bothered.

You whine hard, and as I said you never stopped whining in the server. Funnily enough I'm playing the same game as you. And probably get sniped as often as well.

I bet you were one of them idiots who kept running for the jets even though you knew there was a camper there.

They can't shoot you through rocks...through buildings.....can't see you easily through trees.....smoke... Snipers annoy me, but once I realise I'm getting sniped often. I take more cautious routes. Force them out of hiding. Make them play on your terms and don't run into their killing area. Snipers aren't hard to figure out, let some other idiot run first and take the bullett. Follow the tracer and find where it came from and 40mm the bitch

If you don't like it play Normal...hardcore isn't for the whiners I'm afraid.

HC is the only way to play IMO, shooting some-one 5-10 times with an assault rifle is just gay, hands guns literally dont kill at all, and snipers are easy had by a assualt rifle with a 4Xscope on it.
 
I tried hardcore mode for the first time last night and thought it was awesome. I did get killed by a sniper now and again but it wasn’t that big a deal. I have to admit though, when I decided to play sniper it felt cheap hiding in a bush getting one shot kills while the enemies where running right past me. It got to a point where I just thought "Hmm, ill just let this guy pass" as I felt that bad lol.
 
Simple counters to snipers are implemented in the game already, even on hardcore.

The Kevlar armor upgrade = two shots to kill you.
If you simply want to move around freely, smoke grenade launcher (seriously, I see people running up to heavily defended positions continuously, under no cover whatsoever as assault, and just lobbing grenades randomly, doing nothing constructive, just to get picked off. The smoke grenades negate pretty much all enemy snipers, and with the additional grenates "perk" guess what, you have 4, and the ammo crate, meaning you are NEVER out of cover...I am yet to see anyone else actually use these things, and they work bloody well)

What can I say, I'm your bitch lately it seems tbl :D

I rage as much as the next person re/ BFBC2. Its infuriating but its still immense fun. I've always being a glutton for punishment.

I have your dog tags either way tbl so keep on smilin ;)
