anyone upgraded 5800x3d to the 9800x3d?

So I've got my 9800x3d rig setup and for me i'm happy!

In VR there is a noticeable uplift in performance where I was getting slow down to 70 fps on a congested track beginning of a race in iRacing, ACC etc I'm now rarely dropping below the golden 90 fps so if I mess with some settings I can get a pegged 90 fps Happy days!

The system as a whole seems a lot snappier compared to the 5800x3d but that may be due to the better boot SSD too (WD SN850X)

Triple 1440p gaming there is a little uplift too i'll have to mess with it a bit more and report back

Ok so some games you get a decent bump in frames in VR and Triple 1440p like iRacing but ACC there is literally no difference but that could be due to a newer build since i benched the 5800x3d
 
The 9800x3d is definitely a step up from the 5800x3d but if it's purely for high res gaming there isn't really that much of a use case for it but i have noticed a bump in VR in a few titles but none in others so as usual your mileage may vary :cry:
