My mouse developed the dreaded double click and so I purchased a replacement G903 as I love the look and feel. However, knowing it's a common issue I would like to replace the switches and glides after seeing a video on YouTube by Randomfrank.

I was wondering if anyone in here has done so and which switches etc they'd recommend?

How easy is it to actually do?

How old is your mouse? It has a 2 year warranty (which I wish I'd realised when it happened to me!). I did go down the route of DIY and bought some micro switches from the rainforest place - this particular item is no longer available though but just linked as an example.

Let me say first, that I am utterly useless at soldering, but I did manage to bodge it by following a YouTube video (took me almost an hour - yes that's how bad I am at soldering :)) and it worked for another six months or so before doing the same thing again.

I'm sure others can recommend better micro switches that will probably last longer.
