I'm looking for a wireless alternative to my Corsair Strafe - just to tidy up my desk a bit and get rid of any wires I can.

Can anyone recommend a keyboard they use?

Might have been better to post this in the hardware forum.

I use a fairly entry line Microsoft keyboard and mouse, has catered for my needs which range from gaming to typing and has good ergonomics.

Logitech K235. That's my daily driver, and I love it. Cheap and cheerful, but still good enough for basic gaming (e.g. Fallout IV).

I actually really love the Apple keyboard, useless to you if you are not on a Mac though.

I am currently typing on some Kickstarter thing, it's good but still not got used to it yet even after 2 months, keep hitting the wrong keys! But it looks cool, has RBG innit.

If you love the apple keyboard then the best similar is the Microsoft Modern with touch ID. It's a very good keyboard.

There a loads of wireless keyboards about that work flawlessly.

I've been using wireless Logitech keyboards and mice for many years and not had issues with any of them. Currently I have a wireless mechanical keyboard, the Logitech G613, it's got minimal to no lag, same as the mouse and I use both for generic computer use and gaming etc.

If you want mechanical switches still I have a Anne Pro that I love a lot. I have changed my switches out and the case but it's still a great keyboard stock. They have released a v2 now as well which is meant to be even better.

The Microsoft Surface bluetooth keyboard and it's more recent version the Modern Keyboard are just about identical to the Apple one, but with Windows keys and normal layout.

Thanks all - loads to look at - the Corsair K63 vs the Logitech G613 looks like the battle of the most mainstream manufacturers of wireless equivalents of my Strafe - and the backlighting of the Corsair means that's in the lead (even though I'd prefer RGB, just so I can make it faint pure white by default, and colour-coded for games).

That said, neither are particularly minimal so the Anne Pro looks interesting, and it's opened a world of options now that I've googled suppliers, and seen what else they offer.

I really like the Microsoft - and that's a contender - just wish there was a black, metal-bodied, backlit option.

It really is a nice keyboard to type on. I actually run two keyboards a ducky year of the dog when I'm gaming but the Microsoft modern gets used for work and when I'm doing plenty of typing. It's easily the best keyboard out there for comfort, key travel and feel if your focus is productivity.

The lack of backlight was the sole reason it isnt my only keyboard. The modern also does have an alloy body and absolutely oozes quality.

Agree and I do the same. The MS modern keyboard is great and has the same snappy feel as an Apple one but with a better colour scheme. I also have another gaming keyboard for the backlight.

However I did return the Modern keyboard and got the predesessor to it (the Bluetooth Surface Keyboard). The two are very similar. They look identical and feel identical but have a couple of differences.

1) The earlier version has a replaceable battery and pairs just like any other bluetooth keyboard.

2) The later Modern keyboard has a non replaceable but USB rechargeable battery. It also only works with Windows 10 because it pairs over USB before then connecting with bluetooth.

I wanted to be able to replace the battery and use it with other operating systems and even my Android devices. So I prefer the earlier version.

But both feel fantastic and if the OP likes the Apple style of keyboard then this is highly recommended.

I also have a wireless K750 which many people recommend. But the MS one blows it out of the water for feel.
