Im moving house shortly, ive got a dedicated gaming area where i was going to use my 24" monitor for sticking my PS3 on, but i bought a new TV for the livingroom last night, and my older 32" Panny LCD needs a new home. It can do 1920x1200, but for using as a pc monitor, im not sure if it will be too big or not.

Does anyone do something like this already, did it take time to adjust, any differences from a regular monitor for daily use?

I don't think it would be much use for gaming would it? Probably pretty fun for general use and movies though. Can't speak from experience unfortunately.

I used a 32" 1080p tv as my main monitor for a while, gaming and movies are good but reading txt is horrible - not enough pixels for the size of the screen.

I personally have a dedicated area for gaming in my house, and i recently spent some duckets on an Samsung LED TV, best purchase I've made in a long time, however i do highly agree with the text being hard to make out, but maybe i need to go see an optician :S

I think if your gonna use your computer for hardcore gaming your better off with a normal PC LCD monitor as the TV are really meant for watching movies, animation and graphic design kinda thing, but if you have the money why not huh?

37" HDTV as monitor for me, text is the only problem but most things zoom, or I just sit that bit closer for a little while.

I have limited space, so this was the best all around solution for me.
