Sore back from training.

After repeatedly declining the GF's offer of making me a hot water bottle, I caved in and took it to bed.

It was great, really helped with my back.

The only downside was that if I got a bit hot in the night, and took it out of the bed covers and chucked it down by my feet, I'd wake up thinking my little Jack Russell (RIP) was asleep on my feet :(

If I get hot now, I just move it to the edge of the bed out of the way.

I've now got a sore leg (overdid kick drills swimming), I quickly accepted the offer of a hot water bottle and have renamed it a Man Bot.

Anyone else use one?

Come on, own up!

Yub… I’m not used to this northern weather… my school friend has been living here (Manchester) since she went to uni, and always laugh at me for complaining how cold it was til the day I help her move house to discover how many hot water bottles she has and that she use an electric blanket.

So… I invested in an electric blanket and hot water bottle soon after..

I find ice packs better for sports injuries… my top draw of the freezer is half full of them, the good ones allow you to mould it around the limb/joint…

If it leaks, you’re ****ed. For that reason I use an electric heat pad for aches and pains.

For general comfort, half a pound of liver in a jam jar, 45 seconds in the microwave.

Yes I've been told ice packs are better, but not as cosy :)
