Anyone use an Ergotron MX desk mount?

Just wondering, does anyone here use the Ergotron MX desk mount? What is it like as a monitor stand? Good quality? Easy to use?

Yeah i use a MX at work.. great bit of kit. I can have my monitor 1mm away or all the way to the wall...

Mine arrived yesterday. It. Is. Fantastic.

Great build quality, works really really well Very easy to install on the desk. Can put my monitor right up against the wall when I need to properly use my desk. I have it on my second monitor currently, so I can move it around Don't need one right now for my primary monitor. Really glad I bought it And for £114 delivered, not too bad

Is the MX gas-assisted? I have the neoflex was really great for the £55 I got it at, but don't think it could take any heavier than a 24'' monitor...

Why not move the desk away from the wall further and have the monitor a bit further back? :E Or is that distance ok for you?

Um, as far as I can tell no. But it supports monitors up to 30" in size and 13.6 kg in weight. But it feels very smooth in it's operation, it's a very solid arm. I love it. Makes having my second monitor really easy Going to see about one for my 26" at some point, at it needs some extra height.
