Anyone use an external IP camera for security?

Where can it load its footage upto? A NAS? A website (via FTP)?

As well as still images, can they generally take video?

How intelligent are they? Do they have built in motion detection software, so only take pictures (or video) if there's movement?

Any suggestions of units to look at?

Having looked, I'm tempted to get an auto-tracking one? Seems you can get one for about £400?

But I'd like to hear peoples expriece/advice first (before spending that much)!
