As the title states :)

I am having a little mess about creating abstract backgrounds, current one has taken over 9 hours to render and is currently on 88%.

Does anyone know how to speed up bryce? Or have any other software recommedations that will take full advantage of my setup?

P.s. Feel free to post anything you have created if you want to, wouldn't mind some inspiration!

Hours later... was it worth it?

I don't think so... O well it was fun. Cheers for the link to that software Chilean

Haha, cheers for the comments guys. Was only a little mess about really, annoying thing is when you make it you have to wait HOURS to see if the thing you produced is any good... Or you find out that 1 section looks wrong from that camera angle and have to do it all over.

Ever messed with Cinema 4D Chilean? I had some fun with that a good few years ago, lost it since then.

I'm downloading that Vue 7 now to have a go later. I just remembered it was 2003 last time I dabbled with anything like that. :o

Likewise, I usually mess about for a few days every couple of years. Thought id give rendering a shot now that I'm on a decent rig!

I also am joining the Vue 7 bandwagon... downloading at the moment. Stick your results up here :)

Looking forward to seeing your creations guys, especially some abstract stuff, as I've not tried anything like that in Vue myself, so I'm eager to learn :D

Haha famous last words...it never gets any faster...you just keep adding more detail to your scene or upping the render quality :D

You bet. I'm going for a no nonsense render @ 1920x1200 :) @ highest DPI I can select & top AA settings etc :D.

Can abstract even be done in Vue? Haven't looked for any tutorials yet.
