Anyone use C&W LLU?

Evening all,

Just interested to know if anyone has ever used C&W LLU. I am with sky unlimited LLU at the mo well i am supposed to be. I was meant to go live on the 12th may but im still not online. Its being looked into so im told but i can see this being weeks rather than days. I am on the Braintree exchange and i know i only have roughly a 3mb line max. The strange thing is whenever i put my number into an isp or bt wholesale checker it comes up that my max speed would be either 0mb or 250k yet when i put my house number and postcode it shows i can have up to 3mb.

I really dont know what to do C&W are my last resort in my exchange, orange talktalk are the only other LLU and there a big no no

I recently left C&W LLU after 3 excellent years, ironically I have just joined Sky, LLU broadband and line rental/calls, purely to save a bit of cash. C&W were excellent, zero problems in 3 years.
 
Thanks for that mate, i went to sky for the same reason as you cheap all round package with tv etc. I just dont know whats going on and why my line is active the broadband doesn't work :(. Did C&W provide you with a router or did you have to get your own?

I got my own router. I went with Vivaciti reseller. Xilo are a bit cheaper I think.
