No, and neither can FCKEditor.

They are Javascript WYSIWYG text editors - just like what these forums have (of which I am typing into this very moment..)

They are purely client side and have absolutely no interaction with server side.

Use it all the time at work on our Platform. had a few issues integrating it but seems to work ok. previously we used a Java based editor which was slow and clunky. I am very pleased with FCK.

yes. php will recognise any $_POST'ed input as if it came from an html <input> or <textarea>
