Anyone use Hyper-V on Server 2008?

Hi guys,

We've got a new server, with a Xeon Quad 5405 on an Intel serverboard. Hardware vistualisation and Execute Disable bit are both enabled in the bios, however when I go to add the Hyper-V role, it says not supported.

Any ideas?

Is this the 'has to be installed with US locale bug' ?
I cant remember, its been a while since I looked at this but that rings a bell.
From my testing hyperv was much slower than vmware esx server but was still in beta back them.
