Anyone use, or have heard the YS-TECH FD1238 120mm Fan?

I'm considering getting 2 of these for my case. They have the best airflow to noise ratio in a high performance fan on OcUK, but i'm worried/wondering how loud is 40dbA exactly? I do have a fan controller to adjust the speed, but theres not much point if 40dba is so loud that i never have it turned up to full speed.

I'm also curious as to good the airflow is when at its lowest speed, at 17dba or so. The akasa fans i'm using at the moment are rated at 17dba, at over 38cfm.

I saw a flash clip producing sound at various dbs, but then what do i set my volume control to!



Is the fan so loud that it bothers you when its in a closed case?

i'm starting to change my mind about getting these, my cooling is fine at the moment, i keep finding excuses to buy more crap that wont affect system performance.

don't bother mate ;)
i'd imagine that the AKASA fans are doing a wonderful job... unless you've got some SERIOUS heat troubles, don't bother with the high powered fans... :-/
