Anyone use PC Powerchute software?

Hi guys,

Quick question, we have 1x APC smartups, with 3x servers drawing their power from it. How do we set the software up on each one to allow for the shutdown signal to be sent etc etc?

When we try to setup the 2nd system with the software, it said UPS is already communicating with server1?

I used to use it back in the 90's but ever since Windows 2000 it has been built into the OS. Look at Control Panel -> Power Options. There should be an UPS tab.

You may find that the 1st server has to send the messages to the other 2. I also seem to remember that this cost extra !
