Anyone use Sonarr on their Xpenology NAS?

I've been using Sonarr on my DSM 5.2 Xpenology NAS for over a year now but for some reason it's now crashing almost as soon as it tries to do anything and I have to go back in to Package Center to restart it. I'm no expert but I think it might be to do with Mono getting update but what do i know?

If anyone knows what might be going on i'd appreciate the help.

Hi,

I recently got a Synology and running Sonarr, NZBGet and Couchpotato. I have to say the packages are not serving me well so I started using docker to do it like the guide below.

I have emby running via a package which is also periodically crashing, going to move that to docker if I can figure it out, or play with the Raspberry Pi3 to move them all too!

Yep, I ditched Sickbeard in favour of Sonarr a couple of years ago, use it dockerised along with NZBget, Couch Potato, Music Brainz, Headphones, Deluge & Plex, all dockerised. Works flawlessly.

From what I understand it runs like a contained linux OS for applications rather than a full blown OS. So instead of using a package your running a mini linux server with that application on giving you a bit more flexibility etc...

Thanks. Been using SB for last 6 years on my unraid server with no issues, but have installed sonarr to give it a try (in a docker),

So far so good, got SB and Sonarr running together with sabnzb
 
Do you have configure Docker before you can download images because i cant seem to download any directly after installing Docker.

Sorry for going off topic.

I've now moved from SB to Sonarr permanently

Found it quite easy to import from SB to Sonarr too. Sonarr calendar is pretty good and a breath of fresh air

I dropped SB a while back for Sonarr also, and it's working fine for me.

I haven't bothered with the docker method though, I am just using them as per the Syno Community packages, they seem fine (same with Sab and CouchPotato).
 
Just moved over to sonarr from sickrage.

I am using the community packages like hippo is on dsm 5.2 no problems at all but have kept sickrage just in case it plays up.
 
Anyone at all know why i get this when trying to download an image? This is on a fresh install of DSM 5.2.
