Anyone use the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1

Some reviews say its amazing for games, music and films, others say its amazing for films/music, but not for games.

I will / would be using it for mainly films ( HD MKV files) and Counter Strike Source.

I will also be using it with the Sennheiser HD595s

I now own the Creative Xfi Xtreme Music.

Of I was you I would go for the ASUS Xonar D2X. Does EAX5 and uses the same chip as Auzentech's X-Meridian. (i think?)

I read 3 reviews and saw one on tv, and they all said the Asus was bad for gaming.

it isnty. whoever said that is full of it. while they arent quite as good as the xfi's when it comes to surround effects in gaming, they have far better quality outputs and even the DX is on par with the prelude's outputs at half the price.
