I managed to snag a direct return flight to Bangkok for a really pretty good deal but i have never used the agent Getaflight before? Has anyone else?

Sometimes when booking via skyscanner and when it gets to the agent the price changes...it will say price has went up etc etc. But in this case i think i got lucky? I tried 2 other agents for same destination and dates and the price doubled when it got to the agent.

Anyway fingers crossed :D

Only advise I've had about using 3rd / 2nd party bookers is that if you have any issues with wrong name on tickets etc you can be in for some long bs and expenses getting it changed. That and over booking, but that you won't find out until check in time... Happy flying

is the pounds to baht exchange rate today about 1 ukp <> 43.37 baht ?

I Find out my BKK hotel which cost 10,249 baht charged me £249 today.... It was supposed to be around £223 but a fluctuating pound has meant its more basically.

but to quote their email to me:

You will be charged the GBP equivalent of THB 10,249.39 on your pay date of October 8, 2016. Exchange rates may vary.

10,249 baht does not equal £249. It should be more like £236..... am i missing something?:confused:

I bought tickets last year via one of these bargain flight companies.

I couldn't change it because I'd been issued 'bulk' seats.

It was after the airport bombing in march so I was worried my flight would have been cancelled however it turned out ok in the end but it's made me wary of buying from third parties again.
