ive got 2 xbox 360's(one is an eilte other is mw3 edition) and as of last night i thought of having both connected, the elite by the bed and the mw3 by the computer, but to achieve this i need a monitor and the only one i got spare is vga only..

i havent got the money for a new one as ive already brought 2 in the last 2-3 weeks, the 2nd purchase being hdmi to replace dvi/vga which was first purchased and currently using on computer because the better model has to be used for the missus xbox and our movies due to needing to put tv downstairs, so any money i got spare needs to buy a tv so i get my monitor back :D..

now as for the adapters i can only see these sort on ebay, some being a cable adapter others being a little box, but not all hdmi to vga, more the other way round however i have seen odd ones that is the way i need, i just dont know if this way be good enough?

Yep, MS did an official VGA cable but there'll be tons of 3rd party ones kicking about too. They will let you plug straight into a VGA monitor with no messing around and will give you two RCA cables for sound to connect up to whatever you want.

actually i just had a quick look at a 2nd shop i go to and now i see what it looks like, mean they dont have stock, but unless theres more then one version i do question it...

red/white to vga which means i would still need a box or perhaps the audio connector for turtle beach headsets..

edit: nevermind i saw the one you mean and the same shop has one or so it says in stock at one of their stores local to me so result
