Anyone used this thermal paste?

Id only got a tiny amount to spend, dad rung and said hed got 6 quid for an 80mm fan and some paste. Hence the tight fistedness :p
 
Does the job just fine, but not a high performance compound.

Fits in way ahead of stock compounds but behind MX-2, AS5 and MX-3.
 
I use MX3 because I hate to wait for curse time 150+ hours on the AS5 paste! It funny as I use AS5 got temp of 78C, 76C, 77C, 74C after 1 month, then using MX3 got temp of 71C, 71C, 69C, 69C straight away without any curse time and why is AS5 is better than MX3, I am sorry I had to pick MX3 for my own personal reason is to trust my own MX3 than AS5.

Everyones had their own options of choice! :)

And Rich: rjkoneill endorses and uses Gelid Extreme Thermal Paste because it 1million better than AS3 Thermal Interface Material - where can I order Gelid Extreme Thermal Paste from ??? or unless you can post to me :):)

I'm getting a Gelid HSF delivered on friday, hope I get some of their fancy paste then!

Anyone got any reputable reviews of Gelids paste (not that I don't believe rjkoneill :P)?
 
Why cheap out on thermal paste?!
Its the cheapest part of a pc and the longest lasting and most affective for price.
I got that at work and its naff.
to my mind its the paste used for xbox 360s since it's cheap

I got mx-3 paste and its amazing.

I use AS5 in my machine, however dad only had a VERY limited budget, so all he could afford was the akasa stuff :p
